B-HVS Health Office:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dear Parents/Guardians,

I am seeing many children out sick because of a stomach bug so I wanted you all to be aware.  The best way to prevent the spread of it is good hand washing. It is especially important to wash hands before and after eating, and after sneezing/coughing.

You can help stop the spread of these germs at B-HVS by keeping your child home if they complain of having a belly ache that doesn't go away. As always, children must stay out of school for 24 hours if they have vomiting, diarrhea or a fever (over 100.4). Fever must be gone for 24 hours, without the help of fever-reducing medications such as tylenol, before coming back to school.

Thank you. I appreciate your help in keeping everyone healthy,
